The Physical and Sensory Disabilities Theme Group is Chaired by Judith Smart . The group meets bi-monthly and aims to improve local services in Hertfordshire.

The next meeting will be held in June, a date is yet to be arranged. Meetings are 11am-1pm and are held across the County. 

The groups recent focus and ongoing activity includes improving:

• access
• attitude
• transport
• communication
• treatment
• choose and book

All of the above issues are being addressed by individuals with physical and sensory disabilities through a questionnaire with the aim to improve services for these individuals. The questionnaire is soon to be sent out to all LINk members and the wider community. If you have a physical/sensory disability and wish to complete this questionnaire, please contact the LINk office on 01707 275978. Questionnaires will be available in hard copy, electronic copy and Braille.

The group will be completing monitoring visits to hospitals around Hertfordshire to look at Access.
