The Children and Families Group is currently being established with the support of Nuray and aims to improve local services in Hertfordshire.
The priorities for the coming year are:
- Set the group up, initially in Welwyn/Hatfield. Expanding to other areas once this group is established.
- Hold quarterly meetings attended by active members with a Creche facility
- Listen to the groups issues/concerns and create a yearly work plan
- Prioritise these issues
- Taking further action
Two LINk Board members, Michael Taylor and Pat Cherry, regularly attend meetings focusing on issues of children and families.
