Are you affected by cancer? Join the debate on cancer drugs

The Westminster Government will be changing the way new drugs are priced across the UK. These changes could affect the type and number of drugs that are made available on the NHS. We do not think the Government has done enough to involve people with cancer in the development of this new system.

If you or someone you know has been affected by cancer, please fill in our
online survey or consider taking part in a focus group or telephone interview. The survey, focus group meetings and telephone interviews aim to help us develop an understanding of what matters to people affected by cancer in terms of access to medicines.

We will share the findings with the Department of Health to make sure they take into account the views of people affected by cancer in the development of this important policy.

You can read more about this at: www.prostatecanceruk.org/valuebasedpricing or fill in our online survey at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/PCUK_value_based_pricing

The focus groups will take place:

·         Monday 17th September from 2pm – 4pm in Leeds

·        Tuesday 18th September from 2pm – 4pm in Cardiff

·        Wednesday 19th September from 10am – 12pm in London

·        Thursday 20th September from 2pm – 4pm in Glasgow

Anyone wishing to take part in one of the focus groups or a telephone interview should contact Natasha Rocker at Matrix Evidence at Natasha.rocker@matrixknowledge.com or 020 7614 0529 as soon as possible.
